Not long ago, an aspiring artist’s chance for an appearance at the music
scene, was limited by his location in the world. Young talents had to
consider moving to bigger cities to find inspiration, associates,
labels and such.
In the present music culture, this limit has been washed out after
sites like www.myspace.com and the Danish match www.mymusic.com has
grown and won recognition. Creative and flourishing examples from
musical meetings on the internet, blossoms everyday.
On the internet, the audience is on the leading edge when it comes to
which kind of music they want listen to, as the access to manifold
music genres is only limited by imagination.
We wish to give these artists a chance to meet and interact, in an
environment coloured by innovation and growth. We definitely think
Odense contains highly suitable frames for a meeting like this, and
this year we want a maximum use of it.
And we
did it... but we realy hope some more will show up next
year... keep in touch and look who is going to be
headname of 2008.
